Downtown Jenks Main Street
Gardeners, welcome to heaven.
On the first weekend in May, Downtown Jenks Main Street hosts the annual Jenks Herb and Plant Festival between 1st and 3rd Streets. With more than one hundred booths and thousands of excellent plant varieties, vendors offer green thumb types everything from tomato plants to trees, and from herbs to roses. If you’re looking for advice, the Creek County Master Gardener volunteers are on hand to answer all your gardening questions. Thousands of gardeners and plant lovers show up for this one-day, free event!
Springtime Fun
The morning begins at 8 am with a Pancake Breakfast at the First Methodist Church. Then let the children loose at the inflatable bouncy houses and jungle gyms, face painting booths and more! And when the pancakes become a faint memory, the food vendors are there to provide fresh lemonade, burgers, turkey legs, barbecue, ice creams and funnel cakes while you listen to bluegrass music and more from the REASOR’S Entertainment stage.
Drop and Shop
Worried about leaving your plants in your car? Drop and Shop allows you to drop your purchases off to be kept cool and safe while you continue to shop and play before taking your plants to their new home. Whether you’re looking for a treasure trove of gardening goodness or a lively street fair, the annual Jenks Herb and Plant Festival is the place to be on the first Sunday in May.
